Working families throughout Los Angeles have come together to support Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas in the Nov. 4 race to replace current Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite–Burke.

We need someone on the Board of Supervisors who will stand up for working men and women and who cares about making sure we have access to good jobs, not just more poverty jobs. Throughout his years on the LA City Council, state Assembly and Senate, Ridley-Thomas has a proven track record of working closely with working families on the issues we care about: poverty, good jobs, rebuilding the community. has shown he cares about our issues. Time and time again, Ridley-Thomas has proven that he is the best candidate to help us address those needs. That’s why we have teamed-up with members of the community to form The Alliance for a Stronger Community, our campaign to fight for good jobs and make our communities stronger by electing Mark Ridley-Thomas to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Nov. 4.

We urge you to join our efforts and help us make the L.A. County Board of Supervisors responsive to our needs. By working together we can win the fight for good jobs, healthcare, affordable housing and safer communities.
