Proposition 2 - No Recommendation
Proposition 3 - No Recommendation

Proposition 4 - Vote NO - Prop 4 is sponsored by special interests intent on taking away a woman's right to choose. This measure puts teens at risk and has been called the "most deceptive measure on the...ballot."

Proposition 5 - Vote YES - Reduces prison overcrowding by creating drug treatment programs for youth and rehabilitation for nonviolent offenders.

Proposition 6 - Vote NO - Redirects $1 billion in State funding from vital programs like education and mental health services toward "confused anti-crime spending." (LA Times)

Proposition 7 - Vote NO - So-called "renewable energy" proposition opposed by leading environmental, consumer, and taxpayer groups.

Proposition 8 - Vote NO - Discriminates against individuals seeking to commit to one another with the dignity, respect, and rights that marriage provides families.

Proposition 9 - Vote NO - Creates additional bureaucracy and duplication of existing laws in criminal justice system.

Proposition 10 - Vote NO - $5 billion in new bonds (cost taxpayers nearly $10 billion!) to fund a tax give-away to a Texas billionaire.

Proposition 11 - Vote NO - Changes the State Constitution to give the power to re-draw the state's political map to appointed bureaucrats.

Proposition 12 - Vote YES - Allows veterans of war to obtain low-interest loans for the purchase of homes.

La City Municipal Measures

Measure R - Transportation Tax - YES - Funds critical mass transit and road projects, creating more Union jobs while reducing traffic.

Measure Q - Bond - YES - Repairs and rebuilds older neighborhood schools – with Union labor – so that classrooms are safe and healthy learning environments for our children.
