Richard Bermack

Richard Bermack has a long history as a labor journalist and photographer. He received the AFL-CIO International Labor Communicators Association's top award for labor journalism, the Max Steinbock Award. Richard has worked for unions ranging from the UAW, SEIU, and the ILWU, documenting workers in health care, social services and the building trades.
In addition to his column in Organized Labor, Richard is working on a visual history project for the International Longshore and Warehouse Union.
Richard is the author of Front Lines of Social Change: The Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade.
