Please Save Our Schools. As parents, we want you to know that we don’t currently have sufficient resources at our schools. We need more, not less. We encourage you NOT to cut the budget for our schools and our classrooms.

As parents, we are ready to fight this. We are ready to have protests and boycotts and do whatever is necessary to ensure adequate funding for our schools and for social services that affect children and their families. Parents, teachers and students support each other in this effort.

We are fully behind the teachers in their June 6 Citywide Action when they will stay out of school for the first hour. We believe it will take a dramatic action such as this citywide protest to get the public’s attention and have our voices heard on this critical matter.
