In a career that’s creeping up on 35 years, Jim Bass has written newspaper articles, television commercials, print ads, brochures, fundraising campaigns, training scripts, web site content, speeches, publicity campaigns and multimedia presentations.

His clients include Washington Mutual Group of Funds, Cingular, Dow Chemical, Scientific Atlanta, Goldman Sachs, US West, government agencies, non-profits and dozens of others, representing a vast array of products, services and interests.

Regardless of client or subject matter, Jim holds stubbornly to simplicity as the key to communication. To this end, Jim quotes Shakespeare’s Richard III: “An honest tale speeds best, being plainly told.”

An early adopter of computer-based multimedia, Jim has developed CD-ROMs, websites and launched two web businesses.

Jim has a BS degree from the University of Maryland in journalism.
